Plots each name by three-month return on one axis and how much that figure has moved in the last six weeks on the other, with a short trail showing the direction of travel. Separates rising-and-accelerating from rising-but-fading, which a single-lookback momentum rank cannot do — it puts a stock at the top of the list on the day it quietly begins to roll over. Notes that the second derivative is noisier than the first, so it is better read as a reason to look than a reason to act.
