About this app

A hundred and ten agents, each seeing only its immediate neighbours, following separation, alignment and cohesion. No boid knows there is a flock. Take separation to zero and the flock collapses to a point; take cohesion to zero and it disperses into a gas. The living behaviour exists only in the narrow band where the three rules are fighting each other.
