Ruled index cards in a wooden drawer with a brass pull and a typed drawer label. Cards sit in five boxes and are drawn with weight inversely proportional to their box, so a card you keep failing comes round five times as often as one you know. Grade Again, Hard, Good or Easy and watch cards climb or fall back to box one.
